Aqua (Water/Eau)

Water is used to dissolve many of the other ingredients, its also a vital component of emulsions to give cosmetically pleasant products.

Butylene Glycol

Can be used as a solvent to help disperse ingredients within the formula, or as an humectant to lock in moisture on the skin

C15-19 Alkane

Used to dissolve other ingredients into the formula

Dipropylene Glycol

Used to help disperse ingredients into the formulation

Gluconolactone

PHA (Polyhydroxy Acid), is made of large molecules, it removes dead cells from the surface layer of the skin, whilst naturally locking in moisture and is ideal for more sensitive skin.

Hexylene Glycol

Used to dissolve other ingredients, so they can be added to the fomulation

Isohexadecane

Used to dissolve other ingredients into teh formulation

Polysorbate 80

Solubilisers allow us to include ingredients that wouldn't normally mix well within the formulation

Propanediol

Produced from Corn sugar this ingredient is used as a natural alternative to propylene glycol. It helps to boost moisturisation due to its humectant properties, but can also be used to dissolve other ingredients.
